Some people’s favorite art memories of 2011 involved enjoyed spending time at SAM Downtown, the Seattle Asian Art Museum and the Olympic Sculpture Park with friends and family. A few were first-time visitors to Seattle and SAM.

“October 27!!! My very first visit to Seattle. After loosing my breath watching the nine Ford Mercuries I manage to buy a ticket and check my backpack. It didn’t take long until I lost my breath again, this time it was the bronze playing greyhounds…. But I think they are two playful whippets….. I was really impressed by SAM – a wonderful building and an real interesting display, that I suppose some people might find a provocation!!! ART!
